How amazing is our God? Through all the unsupported accusations, through all the lies and through all the heartache our God still sits on throne and reigns. I am aware that this entry may bring back the negative comments with more unsupported accusations, more lies, more ugliness and more hate. But I do not care. Today is a day for my family to give glory and praise and be thankful while we claim the blessings from our Father.
There could be no greater birthday gift than to have all our family together at the same table for the first time in one year. For months we have felt robbed and cheated from sharing our love with our whole family. My husband once said, there is nothing to fix in this relationship. When she is ready I will be here. Until then we wait. He spoke with God's wisdom because as a human father he wanted to pursue, to plead, to beg. But God's wisdom is to wait and not exacerbate. Yesterday was only a start, but enough of one to celebrate with joy and share His blessings with our loved ones.
No one could imagine the many families that have keep us in prayer at our church, at our work places, at our girls' schools, in our neighborhoods, in our families and our friends. We have felt their love and warmth surround us each day. I held tight to scriptures that reminded us that he puts friends all around us; that we have nothing to fear and no one can harm us or touch us. Scriptures that remind me we are God's children first and foremost and He is in control. Because of all of you we survived this past year without defeat. We knew this day would come and because of those prayers we waited anxiously but with hope. No words can express how much love and appreciation we have for those who have surrounded us with good words, positive thoughts and heartfelt prayer. Prayer is such a powerful tool that is usually the last resort. Look what our Father can do when it is the first resort.
Yes - I mention over and over again my faith and I stand firm the cornerstone of our foundation. But, No - we are not perfect(to clarify for those who think that is what I am saying). We are sinners like the rest of you. We break all the commandments like the rest of you. So spare me the responses with the list of "bad" things you think Jeff and I have done and spare the list of the so called 'proof' of the "bad" things we have done. We are free from guilt because we already know our actions. We are more aware of our sins than anyone else and we are still free because we are forgiven through His blood. My prayer is all our children know they are free too.
Keep praying with us. I am so excited to see what God does next and who is going to use to do it.

As I enjoy my blog where I share the blessing God has given my family, I realize that those who understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven see the words that are written for what they are and understand the blessing we have received. But those who do not understand read the words and do not perceive its meaning for what it is. That is OK. One day I hope we will all know and understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven. Until then we pray and each day we wait is one day closer to God’s return.
You can read any translation of any (Christian- not muslim, jehovah witness, or other non christian version) bible and find the scripture where Jesus tells his disciples, "You have been permitted to understand the secrets of the kingdom of Heaven, but others have not. To those who are open to my teaching, more understanding will be given,and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But to those who are not listening, even what they have will be taken from them. That is why I tell these stories, because people see what I do, but they don't really see. They hear what I say, but they don't really hear, and they don't understand." ---- I quoted a well known paraphrase. I would hope if you call yourself a christian like me then you believe in the same bible and same God I do and therefore know or at least can look up these verses and see that Diana - you and only you decide whether you are one of the people he is speaking to or one of the people he is speaking about.
