I can not believe it will be only one more week before I call my mom and tell her she will be a great-gramma. What joy the news will bring! My dad has been so close to my heart these past few days. I remember his excitement the day I told him he was having twin grandbabies. I can only image how giddy he would be with his first great-grandbabies.
This would be great-grampa. He was the best, the smartest, the most handsome, the funniest, he was our everything. Every night I was pregnant he would ask if his grandbabies were ready for ice cream.
He was their biggest fan, second and third are the wonder woman in this pic, our soon to be great-grammie and our nana who we miss. He was the loudest cheering section at every show and concert. He bought the best presents and brought the biggest hugs. He never missed a chance to say I love you to his little people.
And as our girls grew so did our family.
And so did the grampa belly we loved to cuddle with.
He loved and spoiled ten grandchildren from the four of us. Six he knew from birth and four were added on from second marriages. The more the merrier, he loved all his short people. And now Jeff and I celebrate our first grandbaby! I love you dad. In one week we will share the news with our new great- grammie <3 nbsp="" p="">
